For those who don’t know yet, I’m moving to Phoenix AZ in two months. I’ve spent hours talking and praying about whether it is where I need to be. Often it comes off as a rash decision, but to know me…you have to realize I don’t make rash decisions. I am extremely slow at making decisions. I must ask is this decision wise based on my past experiences, current circumstances, and future hopes and dreams. More and more daily I feely God is answering these three categories more and more in many ways than one. Two days ago I began to really pray and focus on where God wants me in AZ. How am I to be real and connect to myself, others and God if I have no direction? I began looking for churches with little success. I mentioned to Michelle what I was doing and she brought up a church she sees everyday on her way to work and will be 2 blocks from where I may live. I looked it up, found it and was amazed. Their mission statement is, “Connecting with God, Connecting with People, Connecting with You.” Sound familiar? Also their main goal is connecting people together through smallgroups. I was speechless at what I found. To even find people who seek God the same way I do was amazing, but to have God direct us to this place is even more awesome. Michelle and I are going to go check this place out not this Sunday…but next. Ill keep everyone updated and I appreciate all the prayers on my behalf. Click the picture to check out the site.
